Day 2 - Level 4 Competition

After a BIG nights sleep we all woke up to a mountain of delicious breakfast options and Spongebob Squarepants marathons on nickelodeon!

The level four girls woke up bouncing with excitement and butterflies to get ready for their competition. To start their journey to the venue they were given a standing ovation and guard of honour by the older girls as they made their way down to the busses.

The trip to the gym consisted of Alex and Holly making up their own rapping.  We don't think they were nervous about the comp at all!

The level five, six, sevens and tens made their way to the venue just as the competition was starting and with no hesitation or doubt in their minds became the loudest team in the stands. With pom, poms, sparkly hats, feather bowers and LOUD voices the Allstars Comp Team began to roar.  The spectators enjoyed mexican waves, war cries, karaoke, Annie's interesting dancing skills and Steph's intimidating facial expressions.

A big congratulations to the level 4 girls - Holly, Alex, Charlotte & Sam!  You made us very proud today and we hoped you had an enjoyable competition experience.

After and excellent competition from our amazing level fours, the Allstars Team made their way to the Australian Antarctic Division to take a photo for thee scavenger hunt.

The busses were loaded once again and the girls visited the Kingston Beach to take yet ANOTHER scavenger hunt photo. This challenge was to take a jumping photo on the beach and we were blessed with a beautiful rainbow!

By this stage the girls, chaperones and coaches were beginning to get tired and hungry but that NEVER stops an Allstar Team member does it?! The busses were bravely loaded for the last time before heading back to the apartments and the team made their way to Mount Wellington. When we finally reached the pinnacle of the Mountain, we piled out of the buses only to find we could hardly breathe nor stand up in the gale force winds. Sam Blakeney in particular had to hold onto the waist of Annie so she did not blow off the mountain.

As we began our journey back down the mountain, an over excited Chaperone Julie Davies screamed out 'IT'S SNOWING GIRLS LOOK, IT'S SNOWING!"  Once again, the coaches and chaperones showed their brave faces and let the girls out for photos and a taste of the tiny bit of snow we saw.

Cold and hungry the team arrived back at the room for some afternoon tea made up of party pies, sausage rolls, salad sandwiches, carrot sticks YOU NAME IT, they had it.

After heading back to the gym for the level four presentations, Vanessa showed her parking skills as she parked the van in the 'under cover' car parking facilities at the hotel.  Not many people can park a 2.3m high bus in a 2.3m high parking space (there is actually about a finger width of space from the top of the roof to the rafter!) Keep up the good work Vanessa.

Hungrier than ever the girls were given an high protein dinner full of steak, veggies and potato gems before heading to the rooms for an early night.

Tomorrow watch this space for the Level seven results with the team consisting of Francesca Horchner, Sammy Pearson and Marisa Barton. GOOD LUCK GIRLS! Also watch for the level five results, Maddison Davies, Jemima Love, Alanah Broom and Grace Lange. The level ten girls finish off the night with Stephanie Toogood and Annie Flamsteed mixing in with a team of two other girls from a club somewhere in Australia.

We are off to bed now to rest up before tomorrows excitement! Signing off, the senior girls room Annie Flamsteed, Stacie Broom, Lucy Norman, Stephanie Toogood and Francesca Horchner.
